illuma needed to update its branding, to match its focus on context and content-based advertising.

Key to its technology is the idea of reader peers - that people reading certain articles share a mindset with others showing with similar interests at the same time.

The updated design speaks to the idea of this type of relationship - and also the fact that, unlike more personal forms of targeting, reader peers don’t actually need to look alike for this method to work.
